Part Time Evening Cleaner

Preston North End Football Club are looking for a hard working, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join the facilities and maintenance team as a part time evening cleaner. 

 

Deepdale stadium not only hosts football matches, but also various other day-today meetings, functions, birthday parties, clinics and much more. Your role will be to ensure that your areas of responsibility are cleaned to a high standard within a set time frame and ready for use by both staff and the general public.

 

Your place of work will be at Preston North End Football Stadium, Sir Tom Finney Way, Deepdale, Preston, PR1 6RU. 

 

Hours of work 

From 5pm to 9pm Monday to Friday which is a minimum of 20 hours per week. In addition to your standard working hours you will form part of team to work matchdays on a rotational basis as a cleaner. You will be given plenty of notice in advance and more information can be discussed at interview. 

 

Any further additional hours may be available to cover sickness and holidays from time to time. 

 

The evening cleaning team is a small team, the areas of responsibility will include general purpose cleaning of various areas within and around the stadium which include but are not limited to; stadium concourse areas, hospitality lounges, the stadium bowl, offices, the NHS Minerva Centre and the Heartbeat Clinic. 

 

Some of the above areas require the use of heavy machinery such as a floor machine and a buffer. 

 

The role requires you to work on your own for the majority of the time and on occasions as part of a team. Part of you responsibilities will be to open and lock up certain areas.
