About The Role

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Retail Manager, The post holder will be responsible for picking, loading and replenishment of stock to ensure the Club can provide a customer focused retail service across a number of outlets, within a fast paced and busy environment. 

NB – this role requires being able to work evenings/weekends and Bank Holidays as the Club diary dictates.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Efficiently utilise stockroom space, materials and equipment, appropriately secure stockroom facilities and ensure that the stockroom is clean, tidy, orderly and maintained in accordance with acceptable housekeeping standards.
  • Supervise stock at all third-party warehouses and initiate a culture of Club standards and ways of working.
  • Oversee the receiving of new shipment and control all returns/damages/store and transfers for the Club
  • Effectively manage all inventory both on and off site; ensuring the highest level of accuracy; leading on stock taking and other audits as required
  • Deal with enquiries (face to face/phone/online), directing them to other colleagues as appropriate
  • Assist with maintaining presentation of Club shop displays to ensure consistent high standards of visual merchandising.
  • Replenish stock in Club shop as needed throughout working day.
  • Administration as required (eg photocopying, scanning, orders for printing etc)
  • Assist with maintaining the security and safety of customers, colleagues and other visitors to the Club.
  • Be responsible for your own and that of colleagues Health and Safety and adhere to all the Club Policies.
  • Any other duties as commensurate with the role

  • To comply with all aspects of the Club’s Health & Safety Policy and arrangements, to enable the company to perform its civil and statutory obligations in relation to Health & Safety.

About The Candidate

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • 5 GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
  • At least 2 years stock supervision experience in a retail environment including use of EPOS and warehousing systems
  • Strong numerical skills with demonstrated experience of stocktaking and audits

  • Experienced in providing first class customer service and customer care.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach
  • Excellent telephone and customer faced manner.
  • A confident, polite, and understanding telephone manner.

  • Flexible with working hours to assist with out-of-hour stocktake and match days.
  • Willing and able to adapt and respond quickly to changes in strategies.
  • Able to work using own initiative and as a member of a team.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and be resilient.
