About The Role
Hours: 30 pw
Salary: £22,000-£25,000 (pro rata) dependant upon experience
 

The Facility Coordinator(s) are essential to the efficient operation of our 3G Sports Facility at The Campus and the Recreation Centre at Prenton Park.  These roles encompass managing bookings, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the facilities.  A successful candidate must be willing to undertake a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

About The Candidate
  1. Customer Service and Bookings:
    • Greet and assist customers with professionalism and enthusiasm.
    • Manage and process facility bookings, including scheduling, confirming, and updating reservations.
    • Provide detailed information about the facility’s services, events, and amenities.
    • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
  2. Facility Maintenance and Cleaning:
    • Ensure the facilities, including pitches, changing rooms and surrounding areas, are clean, organised, and always presentable.
    • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
    • Clean and tidy changing rooms, including restocking supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap) and ensuring showers and lockers are in good condition.
    • Conduct litter picking around the facility grounds and surrounding areas to maintain a clean environment.
    • Report any maintenance needs or repairs to the appropriate personnel.
  3. Payment Processing:
    • Handle cash and electronic transactions with accuracy and integrity.
    • Stay informed about pricing structures, promotions, and discounts to provide accurate information to customers.
    • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all financial transactions.
  1. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work effectively with internal teams, including management and maintenance staff, to ensure smooth operations.
    • Coordinate with external stakeholders such as sports clubs, community groups, and vendors for events and activities.
    • Assist in organising and supporting facility events, tournaments, and special programmes.
  2. Health and Safety:
    • Adhere to health and safety protocols and ensure the facility complies with safety standards.
    • Conduct regular safety checks and assist in emergency response as necessary.
    • Educate customers on facility rules and safety guidelines.
  3. Administrative and Office Duties:
    • Support with club-wide initiatives across all departments.
    • Answer telephone, respond and direct enquiries to relevant personnel.
    • Perform general administrative tasks including data entry and managing correspondence.
    • Prepare and maintain reports on facility usage, bookings, and financial transactions.
    • Handle inventory management, including ordering and tracking supplies and equipment.
    • Maintain and update customer records and assist in creating promotional materials or newsletters
