About The Role
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE
Working Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Evenings, weekends, bank holiday working as required in line with business needs (infrequent)
Location: Office Based role at the Hawthorns Stadium but with travel to our Training Ground (Walsall), Academy and Warehouse (West Bromwich)
 
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to join our existing HR team. We are a small but busy team who cover all HR activities for Permanent and Casual Staff based at our Stadium, Training Ground, Academy and Warehouse.
 
Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner you will work closely with them and the HR Assistant to provide a proactive, efficient HR Service to the whole Club. 
 
We are looking for a people person who can bring fresh ideas, suggest improvements and are able to work alone and unsupervised as well as part of a small team. 
 
You will provide generalist HR advice and support and lead on any ER matters that arise.

About The Candidate
Essential Critera
  • Demostrable experience as a HR generalist in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrable experience in HR activities covering the whole employee lifecycle
  • Sound knowledge and experience of employment law
  • Experience of leading on a range of ER items 
  • A good knowledge and working experience of EDI 
  • Able to collate, analyse and inerpret data
  • Be proactive and pragmatic in approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Full driving and willingness to travel to all sites
  • Right to work in the UK
 
Desirable Criteria:
  • Hold CIPD Membership
  • Level 3 CIPD
  • Experience of Safer Recruitment
  • Knowledge and experience around Safeguarding
  • Knowledge and experience around Wellbeing
  • Knowledge and experience around Sustainability
  • Experience of Apprenticeships
