About The Role

Rate: £70 per session 
 
Job Purpose
To provide operational and safeguarding support at Academy facilities during training and matchdays.
 
Role Accountabilities & Key Duties
  • To conduct the meet and greet of Opposition Clubs and Match Officials at the Academy.
  • To brief Security Staff on event details and timings, ensuring that all activities are staffed appropriately.
  • To complete training manager reports/trip lead documents as required.
  • To provide the point of contact for Cranford Community College Staff whilst the Academy utilise their facilities.
  • To ensure that the relevant safety checks are completed before and throughout Academy activities.
  • To oversee the registration/dismissal processes at Academy events.
  • To ensure that any issues relating to Academy activities are reported efficiently to the appropriate members of Academy Staff.
  • To develop a sound working knowledge of safeguarding children’s regulations, including legislation & governing body rules.
  • To undertake personal CPD as appropriate to meet the demands of the role.
  • Participate in the appraisal process.
  • Comply with all company policies/procedures. Adhere to all company regulations regarding policies, procedures, health, safety and security.
  • All other duties that may arise from time to time and fall within the scope of this position.
 

About The Candidate

Qualifications
  • Advanced DBS check
  • Current FA Safeguarding Certificate
  • FA EFAiF Certificate
  • Clean UK driving licence (desirable)
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Experience of working with children
  • An understanding of policies, procedures and systems relating to safeguarding and protecting young people
  • Previous experience of providing operational support in an elite sporting environment
  • The ability to liaise empathetically and effectively with young people.
  • Excellent communication skills
