As a Maintenance Operative at Oakwell Stadium, you will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the stadium remains in top condition.
Flexibility in working hours, especially on match days, is essential, as is coordinating with other ground staff. Specific duties and responsibilities
- Assist in undertaking a variety of repairs and preventative maintenance measures to maintain the condition of Oakwell Stadium
- Carry out assigned duties to perform a first class maintenance and repair activity
- Report any items affecting (or potentially affecting) proper and safe operation
- Prioritise assigned maintenance work to properly execute duties
- Help to undertake stadium maintenance inspection and clean down after home matches, identifying repairs and notifying of those repairs as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations
- Flexible around hours/days of work – able to be present during match days and help coordinate the availability of other ground staff.
- Represent and promote the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Undertake any other duties deemed necessary at the time, taking into account the changing needs of the club.
