The ideal candidate will be:
Educated to undergraduate degree level within a relevant discipline
Active registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Trauma Medical Management qualification (ATMMIF or equivalent)
Level 4 Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football (ITMMIF) or
Intermediate First Aid for Sport (IFAS) or comparable equivalent
Experience and Skills
Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role within elite sport or a high-performance environment, or in a position where this opportunity is seen as a natural progression of career.
Previous experience of working well' in a multi-disciplinary environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Good all-round knowledge of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) and its associated audit requirements.
Qualities and Aptitudes
Able to relate, engage and lead positively within a high-performance environment, playing an active role in creating a positive culture.
Ability to communicate information relating to individual athletic performance well (up' and 'down') to a wide variety of staff.
Able to lead with initiative, appreciating confidentiality, working well in a high-pressure high-performance environment, meeting specific deadlines.

Commitment to undertake self-development to ensure knowledge and skills remain current, as techniques and styles continue to evolve Able to work flexibly and be accepting that availability is required in line with and reactive to the academy football calendar.
