ACADEMY PHYSIOTHERAPIST OR SPORTS THERAPIST

Plymouth Argyle FC are looking for casual, hardworking medical staff to join our academy medical department. This is an important role with the assessment and treatment of players within our Academy training. It is critical that the successful applicant understands how to support players aged 7-16 years old with any potential injuries in line with the club’s Emergency Action Plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide pitch side first aid / trauma management
• Liaise with other medical staff, coaches, players and parents
• Take lead of rehabilitation if requested
• Attend medical CPD events
• Report to Head of Academy Medical
• Ensure medical notes are completed on FIP
• Assist in pre-season medical testing

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
• Good communication and team working skills
• Ability to work under pressure and alone when required
• Experience working in a sporting environment
• Commitment, enthusiasm and passion
• Driver’s license
