Job purpose:
|
To manage the day-to-day food preparation and duties assigned by the Lead or Head Chef, meeting the Club’s standards and quality.
|
|
2. Duties and responsibilities:
|
- To be committed to ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all staff and elite players, promoting their well-being whilst maintaining professional boundaries;
- Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a consistently high standard;
- Supporting the senior chefs with the smooth running of the kitchen;
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health and safety standards;
- Ensuring food preparation areas are clean, organised and well maintained;
- Managing your section effectively during busy service periods;
- Following recipes, specifications and portion controls;
- Helping to maintain high standards across all areas of the kitchen;
- Working as part of a professional kitchen team; and
- Any other duties as reasonably assigned by the Lead or Head Chef when required.

4. Knowledge / Experience required:
|
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent;
- Previous experience within an elite sporting environment (desirable);
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety standards;
|
|
5. Qualifications required:
|
- Health and Safety Level 2 or above
- Food hygiene Level 2 or above
|
|
