About The Role

We are looking for staff to work in our busy retail team on a casual basis who will support the delivery of excellent customer service and maximise revenue across both the Ticket Office and Fanstore by processing sales efficiently, assisting supporters with enquiries, and contributing to a positive matchday and non-matchday experience.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Process ticket, season ticket, membership and merchandise sales accurately across relevant sales channels, including face-to-face, telephone and matchday/event operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding positively and professionally to supporter enquiries, resolving issues where possible and escalating when appropriate.
  • Proactively engage with supporters to understand their needs and maximise sales opportunities through relevant upselling and product recommendations.
  • Support matchday and event operations, including walk-up ticket sales, collection queries, access-related enquiries and fanstore service during busy periods.
  • Operate ticketing, EPOS and payment systems accurately, including card payments, cash handling and till reconciliation where required.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, housekeeping, merchandising and stockroom organisation within the Fanstore and associated sales areas.
  • Build and maintain strong knowledge of club ticketing products, retail ranges, promotions and relevant systems to give accurate advice to supporters.
  • Work flexibly across departments and undertake other reasonable duties as directed by line managers to support operational requirements.

 

About The Candidate

The successful candidate will be an ambassador and role model for all Club values and ways of working and exude a can-do attitude to work
You will posses strong verbal & written communication skills, be able to work well on your own and as part of a team, have a pro-active and positive attitude, and be resilient to difficult situations
 
Previous experience in customer service, retail, ticketing or sales is desirable but not essential
