About The Role

Middlesbrough Football Club is seeking motivated and professional individuals to join our Matchday team as Hospitality Food Service Supervisors.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering an exceptional hospitality experience on matchdays and during events. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will support the Room Manager and lead a team to ensure the highest standards of food service and customer care are consistently achieved.
This is a hands-on supervisory position, requiring energy, resilience and the ability to perform under pressure. You will lead by example, setting high standards for service delivery whilst motivating and developing your dynamic team. You will be a committed and natural leader with strong people management skills, able to build rapport with both colleagues and customers.
You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience, maintaining excellent presentation standards, and supporting the effective operation of the hospitality area.
  • Support the Room Manager in overseeing the food service team within the hospitality area.
  • Maintain excellent standards of personal presentation at all times.
  • Lead, motivate and inspire your team to deliver outstanding service standards.
  • Assist with the training, coaching and development of team members within your area.
  • To adhere to and help enforce all Health and Safety standards, company rules, regulations and policies at all times.
  • Promote effective teamwork and collaboration across all departments.
  • Monitor and support the team to consistently meet required service standards.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and team working skills, with the ability to problem solve.

Essential 
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced hospitality, restaurant, hotel or Food & Beverage environment
  • Experience supervising, leading, or coordinating a team
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Experience handling customer queries and resolving complaints professionally.
