The Role
Stevenage FC is seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Analyst to support the club’s player recruitment strategy ahead of the upcoming seasons. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, analysing and profiling potential transfer and loan targets aligned with the club’s football philosophy, budget and squad requirements.
This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of football performance, and a clear interest in working within a visual & data-informed recruitment environment in professional football.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse player performance data to identify and assess potential recruitment targets across domestic and international markets
- Build and maintain detailed player profiles combining data, video, and contextual insights
- Support live and post-match opposition and individual player analysis
- Assist in squad planning, contract benchmarking and market monitoring
- Work closely with scouts, coaches and recruitment staff to align data insights with on-the-ground observations
- Manage and update internal recruitment databases and reporting tools
- Produce clear, concise reports and presentations to support decision-making at recruitment meetings
