We are looking for a creative and driven Marketing Executive to help raise the profile and reach of Pompey Women, covering the team on the pitch, in the community, and across our growing supporter base.

This is an important moment in the development of Pompey Women and the wider women’s game. Your work will play a key role in the next stage of the journey. Your key responsibilities will include:

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the growth of women’s football. You will be at the heart of our marketing activity for Pompey Women, helping shape the team’s voice, build supporter demand and deliver engaging campaigns that celebrate our players, stories and ambitions.

What You will Be Doing:

Campaigns & Creative Delivery

  • Contribute to the overall marketing plan and help drive attendance, engagement and commercial growth.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact campaigns to promote fixtures, players and key moments throughout the season.
  • Optimise messaging and channels to attract new fans while deepening engagement with existing supporters.
  • Support ticketing, commercial partnerships, retail and community programmes with targeted marketing activity.

Matchday & Fan Engagement

  • Lead matchday marketing output to enhance the fan experience.
  • Manage pre-match and post-match communications including updates, interviews and on-the-day creative content.
  • Oversee production of the matchday programme, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate accreditation and manage pass distribution.

Planning, Collaboration & Reporting

  • Contribute ideas in planning sessions and support the season’s strategic narrative.
  • Work collaboratively across the club to deliver integrated, consistent campaigns.
  • Maintain a structured marketing schedule and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Track performance, analyse insights and recommend improvements.
  • Keep the Pompey Women website updated with accurate and engaging content.
  • Attend operational, planning and league meetings as required.

About The Candidate

What We are Looking For:

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for women’s football and a strong sense of what resonates with supporters. You will have experience creating or coordinating digital content across platforms, paired with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.

Attention to detail is important, as is confidence working with data to guide decisions. You will bring creativity and fresh ideas to the table, along with the organisational skills needed to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The role requires someone who remains calm under pressure, is comfortable working flexibly, particularly on matchdays and some evenings, and holds a full driving licence.

You will bring a positive attitude, emotional intelligence and enthusiasm to the team. If you thrive in dynamic environments and care about helping grow the women’s game, you will be a great fit.
