About The Role

Summary of vacancy:
 
- The Academy Performance Analysis Lead is responsible for overseeing the development of the performance analysis department, assisting the Academy Manager in maintaining the required operating performance standards to meet Football League regulations and EPPP criteria. Furthermore, the Academy Performance Analysis Lead will lead on the performance analysis support provided within the Professional Development Phase (PDP), assisting the PDP Lead Coach. 
 
Reports into:
 
- Head of Coaching. 
 
Key Relationships: 
 
- Academy Manager.
- PDP Lead Coach.
 
Key duties:

- Develop and implement the academy’s performance analysis strategy aligned with the academies vision, identity and culture. 
- Lead and manage a team of analysts, interns, and student placements.
- Ensure consistency in analysis language and processes across all academy age groups. 
- Oversee the filming, coding, and statistical analysis of all PDP matches and training sessions.
- Provide live and pre and post-match analysis support for coaches and players.
- Deliver individualized development feedback to players, working in conjunction with the Phase Lead Coaches. 
- Track player and team progress over time using both objective data and qualitative video analysis. 
- Manage, store and analyse insights gained from data collection, effectively communicating findings with the Academy Manager. 
- Collaborate with the Academy Management Team to create holistic player profiles.
 
Other requirements:

- Be an active and effective member of the Academy team.
- Prepare and deliver reports as asked to do so.
- Maintain a good understanding of the culture and values of Bradford City Football Club.
- Work within and adhere to all Academy policies and procedures.
- Develop positive working relationships with key internal stakeholders including the Head of Coaching and Academy Manager.
- As requested, undertake all other reasonable duties that support the Academy.

About The Candidate

Skills and Qualifications:
 
- Undergraduate degree in Sports Coaching or Performance Analysis. 
- Masters degree in Performance Analysis.
- Current FA Emergency First Aid in Football Certificate
- Current FA safeguarding certificate
- Valid Driving license
- A satisfactory disclosure from an enhanced DBS.
 
Your attendance has an impact on the work that we do. Before you start in post you will be asked to provide any dates that you are not available to work during the season. To maintain consistency in our work, it is a requirement of your engagement with the Academy and in this role that no more than 3 sessions/matches are missed throughout the season.
