About The Role

Are you ready to make a real difference in our community and showcase the impact of our work? We’re looking for a creative, and data-driven Impact and Media Lead to join the Burton Albion Community Trust team.

About the Role:
As Impact and Media Lead, you’ll be at the heart of our communications, driving engagement across all social media channels and digital platforms. You’ll create compelling content, manage marketing campaigns, and ensure our programmes are visible, accessible, and celebrated. You’ll also analyse data to evidence our impact, produce insightful reports, and work closely with staff, participants, and partners to measure and communicate the difference we make.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging social media content, including posts, images, and videos.
  • Maintain and update the BACT website, ensuring content is current and relevant.
  • Oversee marketing and promotional activities, ensuring high standards and brand consistency.
  • Analyse data and produce impact reports to evidence the success of our programmes.
  • Work with external media, partners, and stakeholders to promote BACT’s work.
  • Coordinate player appearances and community events.
  • Support the development of tools and processes for measuring impact.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Media, PR, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
  • Proven experience in social media and digital content creation, ideally within sport or entertainment.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required.

Location: Burton Albion Community Football Centre, Pirelli Stadium, Burton on Trent
Hours: 37.5 per week, flexible working including evenings/weekends

About The Candidate

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge

  • A Degree in a relevant area (Media, PR, Marketing, Journalism etc.) or a number of years’ experience normally associated with this level of qualification.
  • Extensive experience in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
  • Demonstrated experience in sharing content on social media and digital platforms – ideally within the sports or entertainment industry for a brand associated with a global reach
 Person Specification – Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent understanding of the importance of branding.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong organisational skills and competent in administrative duties with a high level of attention to detail – in particular around accurate data and information.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively under pressure.
  • Displays a high level of confidentiality and transparency and is able to contribute to team meetings in a professional manner.
  • Flexible approach to meet the nature and demands of the business.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to meet the travel needs of the post (which includes travel to other parts of the UK and abroad as required).
