About The Role

Primary responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness, organisation, and safety of our facilities for the benefit of employees and visitors.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the Stadium including dust & damp mopping; sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, spot cleaning windows.
  • Cleaning restrooms – including restocking dispensers, emptying rubbish bins, cleaning and sanitising fixtures, cleaning mirrors, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
  • Emptying rubbish, cleaning vacuums, and setting up stocks, and cleaning supplies.
  • Monitoring and maintaining sanitation and organisation of assigned areas.
  • Liaising with the line manager to ensure that there are sufficient cleaning products.
  • Reporting to line manager any health and safety hazards such as, breakages that occur during the cleaning process, any large objects obstructing fire exit, and any repairs that need to be done.
  • Assist with the restocking of Kiosks on non Match Days
  • All employees may be required to undertake any other duties as may be reasonably requested.

  • To comply with all aspects of the Club’s Health & Safety Policy and arrangements, to enable the company to perform its civil and statutory obligations in relation to Health & Safety.

    Safeguarding Responsibilities

  • Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures as outlined by the Club; and report any safeguarding or welfare concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Officer in the first instance.
  • This position required an Enhanced DBS check due to the nature of the work involved.

About The Candidate

 

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge

  • Level 2 ability to read and write English with the ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures around use of cleaning products
  • Previous experience as a cleaner (ideally in an entertainment venue)
