About The Role

Walsall Football Club are looking for a Ticketing and Venue Coordinator.

The Ticketing and Venue Coordinator will be a key member of our team who will provide outstanding service to supporters and clients across both ticketing and event sales functions. They will manage ticketing operations, respond to enquiries, coordinate event logistics, and ensure every customer touchpoint reflects the high standards of our Club.

This is a full time position, 37.5 hours a week.
 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first-class customer service face-to-face, over the phone, and online.
  • Accurately process ticket sales and assist with supporter enquiries.
  • Set up events in Ticketmaster and maintain data integrity in line with GDPR.
  • Coordinate event logistics including catering, AV, and supplier services.
  • Produce detailed function sheets and ensure smooth handovers to operational teams.
  • Handle internal bookings, invoicing, and payments through Event 500.
  • Drive new business through outbound sales calls and proactive lead follow-up.
  • Maintain CRM systems with accurate and up-to-date client information.
  • Support matchday communications and cover reception as needed.
  • Represent the Club professionally in all interactions with clients and partners.

Essential:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and equality, diversity & inclusion (EDI).
  • Willingness to work flexibly and support Club operations as required.
  • Must be 18+ and pass an FA DBS Enhanced check.

Desirable:

  • Experience with ticketing platforms such as Ticketmaster.
  • Previous experience in event coordination or venue sales.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and invoicing/payment platforms.
  • Awareness of health & safety procedures within events/venues.
  • Understanding of environmental sustainability practices.
