- Experience of working in a sporting environment to provide Performance Analysis support and delivery.
- A great communicator who is personable and approachable. You will be able to build and maintain relationships with players, parents and coaches with a collaborative approach to work.
- Extremely organised and methodical, able to work to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- Able to communicate complex data to a variety of audiences and implement a variety of feedback techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of Apple and Microsoft Office software packages, including experience using
performance analysis software.
You will have experience of performance analysis in a sporting environment, particularly in relation to young athletes. You will prioritise their development through the creation of a positive environment that nurtures our individual talent in order to successfully transition players throughout the squads. This role is important to offer additional support within the wider Academy environment to promote the development of well – rounded individuals.
With a professional and attentive approach you’ll ensure player needs are met, proactively planning for every eventuality. The role will ensure that the Club adheres to its EPPP obligations, ensuring that Academy analysis operates with a high degree of integrity and professionalism. The role will be key in taking the Academy to the next level, focussing on creating a first-class player experience and setting high standards across every element of a player’s journey.
Whilst we want to develop our Academy players as professional footballers, so it is also of vital importance that this role recognises the significance of maximising player potential off the pitch as well as on it; a consideration of the player’s education and welfare is therefore paramount, alongside the successful candidate having the ability to build positive relationships with other Clubs, players, parents, and other internal stakeholders including other coaches, education and welfare staff, and management.
You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of behaviour are in place, and ensure that you adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures to create a positive and proactive safeguarding culture which gives players a safe and exciting experience.
The role requires a high degree of flexibility throughout the week and as such you should be prepared to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis. Flexibility is key due to training and matches potentially changing at short notice.
