About The Role

We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our fabulous Marketing and Content team who are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and creative Graphic Designer to perform a key role within Coventry City Football Club where everyone dreams big, aims highand plays up in everything we do.

This is a full-time role, where hours can include evenings and weekends in line with the football team’s calendar of activities.

Coventry City FC is looking for a designer, with at least 2-3 years of experience, who can own the visual direction of the club, ensuring consistency and quality in all of its visual material. The designer will be capable of creating eye-catching visuals that not only engage our passionate fans but also promote our club and support a variety of exciting business functions.

EXPECTED RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

To collaborate with the marketing, content, retail and commercial teams in crafting high-quality graphics for print, digital, social media, and internal communications across various campaigns aimed at promoting the club and its commercial activities.
Design innovative marketing materials, including event and matchday materials, posters, digital assets, social media posts, website graphics, and merchandise designs.
Develop an engaging and flexible creative style that meets the highest standards for the brand.
Ensure consistency in Coventry City FC’s visual identity across all platforms and materials, aligning all designs with the club's brand guidelines.
Partner with the marketing and content teams to create and implement creative campaigns, promotions, and visual content supporting club initiatives, sponsorships, and fan engagement.
Produce visually striking and shareable content for social media platforms to foster engagement with our fanbase and drive traffic.

About The Candidate

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, In Design, After Effects) as well as other relevant design tools.
Possess strong conceptual thinking and a sharp attention to detail.
Ability to transform ideas into engaging visuals.
Experience in creating and refining brand guidelines while ensuring design consistency across various platforms.
Knowledgeable about the specific design needs for social media and adept at optimising content for different formats.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, thriving in a dynamic team environment to support multiple commercial campaigns at once.
Capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and adapting swiftly to evolving priorities.
Ideally, the candidate will have experience with following and leading brand creative.
