About The Role

Burton Albion Football Club is offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our Academy Medical team. This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to apply their skills within a professional football club environment and to work with young footballers within a thriving Club Academy and Women's Senior Team.

We are looking for an individual who are highly motivated, hardworking and passionate about working within football. The successful candidates will be based at the Pirelli Stadium, as well as our Academy training and games programme facility, St Georges Park. This is a full time role requiring flexibility to work regular evenings and weekends, plus regular travel to away matches.

The successful candidates will aid in the provision of medical services throughout the Academy to assist with the rehabilitation of injured Academy players as directed by the Head of Sports Science & Medical. Working closely with the Head of Sports Science & Medical and the coaching department, the successful candidate will ensure all aspects of player (Academy & Women's) diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation are communicated.  Candidates will possess excellent communication skills, that are proactive and can work calmly under pressure.

 

About The Candidate
Applicants must have a minimum pitch-side qualification Level 4 (ITMMiF, equivalent or above) and must hold a full driving licence.  The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure & FA Safeguarding Certificate Qualification.
