About The Role
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an individual to gain valuable experience working within our Academy. The chosen applicant would assist in the delivery of wellbeing support U9-U18 with the Player Care Department. The chosen individual will be working within the Player Care team, holistically supporting the player throughout their time at the academy. Using our Wellbeing Wheel, the academy players will be supported day to day during critical moments and guided through their transitions within an elite environment.
 
We are looking for a caring and personable placement student to support the Academy Player Care Department. The role will provide you with an excellent insight to the day to day running of the Player Care Department including the support that we provide Academy players and the safeguarding and external support provided. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others and keen to pursue a career in Player Care. The successful candidate will be hard-working, enthusiastic, show a desire to learn and show a good level of knowledge.
About The Candidate
Essential
  • Predicted/completed first or upper second class (or equivalent)
    degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Excellent computer literacy with relevant computer software
    (Microsoft Office, relevant data analysis software)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
  • Available on evenings and weekends.
  • Demonstrates honesty, integrity and reliability
 
Desirable
  • Currently undertaking or completed a master’s degree in a relevant
    subject area
  • Elite Player Care Qualification
