Purpose of the role
Salford City FC Foundation are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, and professional individual to the exciting role of Primary School Education Manager. The successful candidate will support the charity’s delivery and development of the education department to manage and support the growth of our primary school provision.
Our Education work is rooted in local need and focused on creating meaningful pathways for young people and adults to progress, achieve and thrive.
The role will predominantly oversee our successful PLPS (Premier League Primary Stars) programme, manage and support the education delivery team, to support the growth of our primary school programme/ offer, build strong partnerships and ensure high-quality monitoring, reporting and compliance across all funded activity.
Key responsibilities
- Take direct responsibility, and to support the ongoing maintenance and development of positive relationships with stakeholders, investors and referral partners, ensuring each programme within the Education department is delivered as impactfully as possible.
- Take direct responsibility for collation of impact data which will form an integral part of partner reporting.
- To direct responsibility for Salford City FC Foundation’s Premier League Primary Stars programme, taking responsibility for all aspects of project recruitment, retention, delivery and impact measurement.
- To accurately and effectively collect and record data such as participant data, teacher and participant questionnaires and demographic data.
- To design, plan and deliver a range of high-quality education sessions which are accessible to ages from 2-11.
- To oversee the delivery across a range of sport, physical activity and healthy lifestyle opportunities which are safe, structured, progressive and engaging to all. Alongside our classroom based workshops which includes, mental health programmes and themed workshops across the academic year.
- To grow, develop and support delivery staff within the Education team.
- To proactively and strategically promote both Salford City FC Foundation and local partner educational programmes, physical activity and wider engagement opportunities to children, young people and adults, enabling young people to access ongoing provision.
- Commit to undertaking a range of ongoing personal CPD, particularly within the areas of; Education and mental health.
