About The Role

We are looking for someone to join our Academy Analysis Team to assist in the provision of U18s performance analysis and offer additional support within the wider academy environment to promote the development of well – rounded individuals

You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis and deliver feedback and support to players, coaches and the wider multidisciplinary staff.

Key Accountabilities
  • To film and capture matches home and away throughout the week, working with all squads throughout the academy
  • To film and analyse training sessions
  • To code and edit footage using Hudl SportsCode for teams and individuals
  • To produce pre- and post-match presentations
  • To build player profiles using databasing and statistical reporting techniques
  • To lead the internship programme.
  • To contribute to the development of academy learning resources, including playing philosophy, coaching syllabus and best practice guides.
  • To create age and learning style appropriate education content – relating to team, unit and individuals
  • To participate in research that adds value to the academy.
  • To liaise with all relevant staff, where appropriate, to ensure that information, relevant to duties, is communicated effectively.

About The Candidate

Qualifications / Experience
 
Essential:
  • BSc in a Sports Science, Sport Studies, Coaching or Performance Analysis
  • Experience of working in a Category 1 Academy. 
  • Level 2 coaching qualification
 
Desirable:
  • Flyer ID / Flying a Drone
  • MSc in a Performance Analysis related subject
