About The Role

JOB PURPOSE

To supervise Front of House areas, both on a matchday and at other events ensuring customers’ needs are met and exceeded where possible.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all suites are ready to go on matchdays and at other events.
  • Greet customers, ensuring all needs are met and supervise food and beverage service.
  • Ensure correct staffing levels in your allocated function room(s) at all times.
  • Supervise staff ensuring the highest possible standards at all times.
  • Conduct briefings before shifts to communicate expectations, service updates, and special requirements.
  • Assist in training new and existing team members on service procedures.
  • Manage linen and uniform requirements, ordering replacements where necessary.
  • To act as departmental duty manager when required and be a key holder.
  • To maintain exemplary hygiene standards in all areas.
  • Oversee stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring efficient ordering and stock rotation.
  • Oversee the delivery of player food for the First Team and Academy, ensuring high standards and timeliness.
  • Assist in setting up and managing events, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
  • Any other duties as requested.

About The Candidate

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Personal Alcohol Licence (would be an advantage).
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience within hospitality or housekeeping environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage products.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION – SKILLS / ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Ability to influence others through excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer Service oriented with effective stakeholder and client engagement.
  • High level of accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills in order to meet strict deadlines - with the ability to manage and prioritise own and others workload.
