About The Role

JOB PURPOSE

Oversee and manage the IT infrastructure, systems and running of the Club.   The IT Manager is accountable for ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of the day to day IT operations, as well as providing technical support and guidance to the staff and stakeholders of the Club as it grows and strives towards its ambitious targets.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, implement, and monitor the IT policies and procedures of the Club.
  • Manage the day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company's IT infrastructure.
  • Supervise and coordinate IT contractors and partners.
  • Maintain and upgrade the IT hardware and software of the Club.
  • Develop and manage the IT department budget. Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure the compliance and security of the IT systems and data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues and incidents internally and in collaboration with vendors and partners.
  • Provide IT training and support to the staff and stakeholders of the Club.
  • Any other duties as commensurate with the role

  • This role will require a Basic DBS check

    HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take responsibility and care for the health and safety of yourself and other employees and members of the public who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
  • To comply with all aspects of the Club’s Health & Safety Policy and arrangements, to enable the company to perform its civil and statutory obligations in relation to Health & Safety.
About The Candidate

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • A degree in IT, computer science, or related field (or number of years experience normally associated with this level of qualification)
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT management or similar role

    PERSONAL SPECIFICATION - SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Strong knowledge and proven experience in, IT systems, networks, and security
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexible approach to meet the nature and demands of the business.
