About The Role

Stoke City Football Club of the Championship are looking to recruit a full time Women’s First Team and Boys Academy Goalkeeping Coach to support ongoing operations at Clayton Wood Training Ground and the Academy Dome.


The successful applicant would have responsibility for leading the Women’s Teams Goalkeepers as well as supporting the Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach with the implementation of the goalkeeping curriculum from age groups U8-16’s.


From planning sessions within the coaching development programme, through to the delivery, monitoring and analysing of performances, this is a comprehensive role perfect for an individual committed to developing players to the best of their abilities.


The Coaching department plays a key role in supporting the development of players at the Club. This is a fantastic opportunity to coach and develop players in an elite environment to build on the recent success of both the Women’s First Team and the Academy.


The role will require the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team, to provide the best programme for players to within both disciplines.

About The Candidate

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

 

  • Football background as a player or coach.
  • Minimum of the UEFA B Licence and Youth Module 3 (Academy Coach).
  • Coaching experience in Women’s, Girls or Academy Football.
  • Ability to support in the implementation of a players development plan.
  • Experience with recording evidence, providing reports and feeding back to players and colleagues.
  • Ability to plan, work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of elite football requirements.
  • Understanding of Football Intelligence Platform. (Desirable)

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of flexibility to cover evenings and weekends work as required. The position will be offered on a full time basis.
