About The Role

JOB PURPOSE

To oversee and streamline administrative operations within the office; coordinating office activities to ensure efficiency and compliance to company policies.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a well-organised (safe and secure) and efficient office environment
  • Manage schedules, deadlines and office resources; handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Handle customer queries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support the team by facilitating communications and meetings.
  • Provide adhoc admin support to the Executive Assistant to the CEO, Head of Operations, Player Administrator and co-ordinate and manage any additional administrative support as required
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintain and update Club records, databases and filing systems; updating and maintaining office policies and procedures;.
  • Assist colleagues with travel and logistic plans – particularly tours and other events
  • Assist various departments on matchday and liaising with customers as required by the demands of the business.
  • Carry out other duties commensurate with the role.

    SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • We are committed to ensuring everyone who engages with the Club has a positive, safe, and supportive experience.Staff are required to comply with all aspects of the Club Safeguarding Policies and arrangements and to take personal responsibility and care to enable strong safeguarding practices to be embedded across the Club.
  • This post will require a Basic DBS check

    HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take responsibility and care for the health and safety of yourself and other employees and members of the public who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
  • To comply with all aspects of the Club’s Health & Safety Policy and arrangements, to enable the company to perform its civil and statutory obligations in relation to Health & Safety.
About The Candidate

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • At least 2 years experience as an Office Manager within a busy office environment
  • OCR/RSA Level 2 or relevant NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration (or number of years experience usually associated with this level of qualification).

    SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience of communicating to management..
  • Proficiency in MS Office and office management software.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • An understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to handle and process sensitive data confidentially and with discretion
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively under pressure.
